Entry-level roles in the UK typically start between £28,000 and £42,000, rising to £48,000-£65,000 for senior consultants. Directors at major firms earn above £100,000. US compensation runs higher, with entry-level roles at $60,000-$90,000 and director-level positions reaching $180,000+.

The market is moving towards finance-integrated roles. Climate risk modelling, regulatory reporting under CSRD and ISSB, carbon accounting and ESG data analytics command higher compensation than generalist positions.
